Sorry for the delay! If you started writing before I updated this letter, I look forward to seeing what you've come up with. But if not, here are my thoughts.

REQUEST ONE
The Cabin in the Woods (2011)
Hunger Games Series - All Media Types
Pocket Monsters | Pokemon - All Media Types
Push (2009)
Zombieland (2009)

Themes for this group: survival, doing amazing (or questionable) things to survive; the (upper and lower) limits of humanity; the world turned upside down.

I have a couple of gaps here: Pokemon was my first ever fandom, but I only know the games up through Ruby and Sapphire, and the anime up through Johto. If there's another area of canon you want to work with, great, but you may need to provide me with some helpful links in your author's notes. Similarly, I've read all the Hunger Games books, but I haven't seen Catching Fire the movie.

Several of these combinations are just "add more zombies" or "add more psychics" to other canons that are already ripe for them. (I mean, Pokemon has psychics, so, Push, and Cabin in the Woods has zombies, so, Zombieland.) And zombies and psychics can be great together. I also adore Pokemon stories in which the world is grittier and darker than the one we saw on the show; that could lend itself beautifully to a crossover with Cabin in the Woods or Hunger Games. Or: was the apocalypse that led to the creation of the Hunger Games society a zombie apocalypse, and might it occur again? Another idea: if the Hunger Games world has the psychics of Push, I bet they'd be part of the Capitol's elite military force. What do you think?

Confession time: the idea that tipped me over into signing up for this exchange was the desire for a combination of Hunger Games and Cabin in the Woods, especially if the same conspiracy underlies them both. So if you're tossing up several ideas, I would really love that one. If not? I WILL be happy with many, many things.

A lot of these worlds are very dark. I'd love a story about ordinary folk suddenly having to do crazy or terrible things to survive; I'd also love a story in which people cope with their crazy, horrible worlds by rising above and rebuilding. Black humour would be great too.

Would prefer not too much description of gore when it comes to any zombies, please, and please don't describe anyone's hands being hurt in loving detail.

REQUEST TWO
Dollhouse
Fairy Tales & Related Fandoms
Shoujo Kakumei Utena | Revolutionary Girl Utena
Kingdom Hearts
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (TV)

Themes for this group: the stories we tell ourselves (true or false) about our own nature and that of the world; OR teamwork and found families and unexpected alliances.

Gaps: I have only played the first Kingdom Hearts game. I know a little about subsequent games from fandom osmosis, but it's probably better if you stick to first game ideas, sorry. I know a reasonably wide range of fairy tales, and I have all of the Andrew Lang books on my home bookshelf.

So: where I suggested a theme for request one of doing terrible things to survive, one thing that might unite some canons in request two is the stories we tell ourselves to justify our actions. What makes grey morality okay; what keeps us going when the going gets tough; where do we draw our lines in the sand? What makes characters pledge undying loyalty, and what makes them give up - or wake up? SHIELD struggles with questions of accountability and responsibility - so does Dollhouse, and you can even take this tack with the other canons, especially if you want to do a revisionist fairy tale in which maybe "villains" and "heroes" get switched around.

Two of my favourite fairy tales are Rapunzel and East of the Sun, West of the Moon, if you'd like to work with those specifically.

Dollhouse and SHIELD is possibly the most natural combination of this bunch. For a more specific suggestion, you could even make Amy Acker's character identical across canons.

Utena uses fairy tale ideas implicitly, but you could make the connection more explicit. Perhaps create another layer for the protagonists to wake from/ grow up from. (or: if crossing over Dollhouse and Utena, perhaps all of the characters are programmed Actives, and all of them are struggling to find a base or aggregate identity. Only, why would someone program them like that...?)

I realise some of these canons' combinations are... pretty cracky. Especially Agents of SHIELD and Kingdom Hearts, or Agents of SHIELD and Utena. (But there are parallels to be drawn between "princes" and people who want to protect the world from things they're not ready to know...) Crack is OK!

I prefer memory loss not to be treated in a humorous or very superficial way. No groundhog day stuff, and super-tropey amnesia fic doesn't work for me either. But it is okay as a plot point. After all, some of these canons require it.

REQUEST THREE
The Cabin in the Woods (2011)
Dollhouse
Fairy Tales & Related Fandoms
Hunger Games Series - All Media Types
Kingdom Hearts
Pocket Monsters | Pokemon - All Media Types
Push (2009)
Shoujo Kakumei Utena | Revolutionary Girl Utena
Zombieland (2009)
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (TV)

This is my grab bag request, combining all of my prompts from the other two. Basically, author, if you have an idea: go for it. I trust you.

More suggestions... hm. If Utena/Push, what if Akio and Anthy are both pushers? It brings a whole new level to the mind games they play. Cabin in the Woods/ Kingdom Hearts: the Halloweentown graveyard is extra creepy. Or: there's another Kingdom Hearts world that the team visit that is just plain wrong in some way? I feel that you could cross over Kingdom Hearts and Zombieland that way, and even use either set of protagonists. Columbus - or Wichita - with a Keyblade could be amazing.

And of course, SHIELD's technology would make the struggle in Zombieland a little more even. I feel SHIELD and Push also cross over reasonably well. Is "Division" actually part of SHIELD?

General thoughts: Another thing that attracted me to this exchange is, I feel, the way it lends itself to worldbuilding, which is something I love. I am really excited to imagine the bridges you will build between these very different worlds.

I am primarily a gen writer and reader, but you are welcome to write any combination of genders and sexualities, romances or other relationships (mentors, families, teams, ???), and any rating.

Original characters are most welcome.
